University of Florida Institute for Drug Policy (Department of Psychiatry)

The UF Institute for Drug Policy (IDP) serves the state of Florida, the Nation, and the global community in delivering evidence-based, policy-relevant, information to policymakers, practitioners, scholars, and the community to make educated decisions about issues of policy significance in the field of substance use, abuse, and addiction.

DPI sponsors and houses the David F. Musto Drug Policy Fellow, a pre or post-doctoral research fellow housed at the University of Florida who will work on drug policy issues during a one year term. IDP will also offer internships and junior fellowships to emerging researchers and practitioners in the field of drug policy analysis.
